Why International Clients Hire Us
Proven experience. Venue and vendor access. Discretion. Local expertise.
You’re planning from abroad with high expectations and limited time. You need a Paris-based, English-speaking lead who understands what works operationally—venue logistics, permit windows, timing constraints, and coordination across settings from Seine yachts to private châteaux to closed-door cinema screenings. And you need direct relationships with partners who deliver on occasions like this.
You also need a planner who pivots confidently. Flight delays. A vendor calls in sick. Traffic. Wind grounds the helicopter. Last-minute additions. We adjust and keep moving.
Your partner is often right beside you while you plan. Your cover story has to hold. The crew has to execute cleanly. Timelines need to survive pressure.
We work collaboratively—your input shapes a concept designed around your partner, not a template. Then we secure the setting, map the plan, and handle production: contracts, partner coordination, run-of-show, privacy, on-site direction.
Plain English. Straight pricing. One point of contact who cares—and delivers.
We push creative boundaries to design a luxury experience around her—bold, original, romantic.

‘Planning a wedding across cities, time zones, and languages felt impossible—until Chantelle and Kiss Me in Paris made our Plaza Athénée celebration unforgettable. Her Paris connections and calm coordination built a dream team and kept everything on track.’

What We Handle
Concept + Direction
Built around your relationship and your partner’s style.
Venue Selection + Access
We match the setting to your concept, headcount, timing, and budget. Eiffel Tower–view suites at the Shangri-La, Peninsula, or Four Seasons. Private Seine yachts. Châteaux—Fontainebleau, Vaux-le-Vicomte, Villette. Period ballrooms, private cinemas, art galleries. We know what’s allowed, what needs permissions, and what access costs.
Vendor Team
Photo/video, florals, music, transport, specialty talent when it fits—vetted, confirmed, briefed.
Contracts + Payments
Plain-English. One agreement where possible—covering services, vendors, costs, and deadlines. Historic venues and specialty vendors sometimes require their own contracts.
Production Logistics
Access protocols, load-in timing, elevator restrictions, setup windows. You arrive to a walk-in-ready setup.
Privacy Protocols
Small, trusted crew. Need-to-know vendor access. NDAs available. If friends or family join after the yes, they’re staged out of sight and cued on timing.
On-Site Direction
We run the team and the timeline. You stay present and enjoy.
See What We Build
Raw spaces become ready events. We start with the empty room—ballrooms, châteaux, rooftop suites—and bring in the lighting, floral installations, furniture, music setups, and the hundreds of decisions that give the experience its energy.
Swipe to see the before and after. Shangri-La. Vaux-le-Vicomte. Peninsula. Bristol. Château de Fontainebleau. Private Seine yachts. All setup shots—no filters, just the work.
// Who Leads Your Proposal
Chantelle Streete
Featured in: Reuters, Barron’s, and AFP (via France 24) for expert commentary on high-production Paris proposals.
Chantelle Streete is the co-founder and Executive Planner of Kiss Me in Paris Proposals & Weddings — the agency behind some of the most high-profile proposals and destination weddings produced in Paris. She has produced over 1,200 events since 2013, with full-service planning since 2017. Her clients include Fortune 500 executives, professional athletes, and private individuals who expect discretion, high standards, and a responsive English-speaking lead throughout.
She brings a Wharton MBA and a Wall Street background to event production. Clear budgets, stress-tested timelines, production schedules, contingency planning, and vendor accountability — in writing. She plans everything from private Eiffel Tower-terrace proposals to 200-guest château weddings, multi-day celebrations, and events that require coordinated layers of privacy and access.
Her venue network is one of the strongest in Paris. Direct relationships with the Shangri-La, The Peninsula Paris, the Plaza Athénée, and historic estates including Château de Fontainebleau, Vaux-le-Vicomte, and Château de Villette. She knows which terrace, which chef, which maître d’ to call. That knowledge comes from a decade of delivering at the same properties, with the relationships to show for it.
On-site, she runs calm, organized productions. Clients arrive and everything is walk-in ready — no briefings, no scrambling. Off-site, she’s direct, responsive, and fast across time zones — clear answers without the back-and-forth.
What keeps clients coming back — and many do, for weddings after proposals, then anniversaries, then milestone birthdays — is that she’s invested. Not in a brochure-copy way. In a “she flew to our wedding in another country because she wanted to be there” way. In February 2026, Agence France-Presse quoted her directly in a wire feature on high-production proposals in Paris — coverage that ran in 40+ outlets across five continents and eight languages.
When she’s not directing a run-of-show or scouting a new venue, she’s hunting down under-the-radar Paris restaurants, traveling with her family, and losing every battle with Chanel.

Signature services
Choose your level of support: full planning + production, day-of coordination, or à la carte. Minimums and final scope are confirmed in consultation.
01
Full-Service Planning & Production
You want the whole thing handled. We lead creative direction, secure venue access, build the vendor team, manage contracts and logistics, set privacy protocols, and run the day. The unglamorous wins—access windows, delivery rules, noise limits, the “no, that’s not allowed here” conversations—handled early, in writing.
Planning starts at €1,200 or 15% of total budget. Production typically begins at €4,000. 1–3 months is ideal; rush planning in 24–72 hours is possible.
02
Professional Coordination
You have the plan (venue & vendors). You need an experienced point person you can trust in Paris to run it.
Expect us to handle essential vendor communication, ensure your setup is walk-in-ready, run the timeline, and solve problems before they reach you. You stay focused on her. From €500.
03
International Planning & Production
Same standards as our Paris work—creative direction, international vendor vetting, travel logistics, on-site production. But travel changes the math. Different city rules, different load-ins, different vendor reliability. More lead time protects the outcome.
Higher minimums apply; pricing quoted after consultation. We recommend 2–4 months lead time.
04
À La Carte Services
You run the plan. We supply the pieces—couture florals, live musicians, photography and video, luxury transport (Rolls-Royce, Maybach, vintage), hotel suite setup. Quoted per element.

Proposal Day

// You ask. We answer.
Can you plan this if I’m not in Paris?
Yes. Most clients are abroad. One English-speaking lead manages everything on the ground—clear communication, fast replies, scheduling around your time zone.
How far in advance should I book?
1–3 months for best access. Rush planning in 24–72 hours is often possible—share your date, and we’ll confirm.
How do you keep the surprise?
We build a cover story, control all communication, and brief vendors on discretion. Dinner reservation, “meeting a friend,” a photo excuse—whatever fits your situation. You get clear instructions; the team executes without tipping anyone off.
Can you maximize privacy? I don’t want crowds.
Yes. We steer you toward private settings where we control access—Eiffel Tower rooftop suites, yachts, châteaux, and privatized galleries. NDA available.
Do I need a permit?
Some public spaces require permits for professional setups—enforcement varies by location and season. Our advice: when you have the budget, spend it on a private venue instead. Better experience, total control, no risk of interruption.
What if it rains?
We plan for the weather from the start and make the call 2-4 hours before. Light rain photographs beautifully—soft light, fewer shadows, and some of our most emotional proposals have happened in it. Heavy weather triggers a pre-approved plan B. If conditions require it, we can delay or reschedule an entire production on short notice—vendors and all. Some vendors charge a rebooking fee.
What should I budget?
Most productions start at €4,000+ and scale from there. Planning fee is €1,200 minimum or 15% of total budget (whichever is higher).
What does the planning fee cover?
The planning fee covers one experienced lead managing your project from start to finish—concept development, venue strategy, vendor coordination, contracts, and on-site direction on proposal day.
Do you handle photography?
Yes. Kiss Me in Paris started as a photography studio in 2013. We work with photographers who understand marriage proposal dynamics—discretion, positioning, pacing.
Can I bring my own vendors?
Generally, yes—if they meet venue requirements. Some properties only allow vendors with EU professional credentials or insurance. If your team doesn’t qualify, we’ll recommend trusted alternatives.
Will I work directly with Chantelle Streete?
Sometimes—particularly for high-production or multi-day proposals. Chantelle founded Kiss Me in Paris in 2013 and has produced 1,200+ events.
Most proposals are led by senior planners she trained personally—bilingual, Paris-based, held to the same standards.
What languages do you speak?
English primarily. French for local negotiations, Spanish when useful. Most client communication is in English.
When is the final payment due?
Final balance is due before proposal day. Any last-minute additions require payment before we deliver photos and video.
What’s your cancellation policy?
All payments are non-refundable. Most work—deposits, vendor bookings, planning—happens well before your date. We recommend travel insurance.
