// What We Do
We plan and produce high-end proposals, elopements, and destination weddings in Paris for international couples flying in with high expectations. It’s full-service planning for couples who have ambitious ideas, want responsive communication, and need a team that drives things forward from the first call to the final cue. Everything runs in clear, fast English — even with vendors who don’t speak it — so you never have to manage Paris in a second language. French, Spanish, and Russian are on hand across the team when guests or vendors need them.
By the time you land in Paris, the major pieces are already in place — venues secured, contracts signed, permits handled. A run-of-show timed to the minute: vendor coordination, chauffeured transport, weather contingencies, all built into the schedule weeks ahead. Your lead planner runs everything on the ground in Paris — you make the calls that matter to you, and lean on her judgment for the rest.
1,200+ events and long-standing relationships with Paris’s most sought-after venues and vendors give us the access to book the right spaces, negotiate favorable terms, and settle logistics early — so the day runs the way you intended.
How PLANNING works from abroad
01
Tell us what you’re planning
Your dates, your vision, your priorities, your non-negotiables. We’ll get on a call, see if it’s a fit, and go from there.
02
We design and prepare
Once we’re working together, we dig into what matters to you — then present concepts, shortlist venues, recommend vendors, stress-test the timeline, and build the production schedule down to the cue.
03
We run the day
Coordination, contingencies, and execution on the ground. You enjoy it — that’s the whole point.
// Our Paris Planning Services
01
Paris Proposal Planning
We plan and produce marriage proposals in Paris for couples flying in to do this once — and do it right. Palace hotels, historic châteaux, luxury yachts, private cinema screenings, gallery takeovers — the format starts with her.
Then we design the evening around the senses: lighting, florals, scent, texture, and a live harpist playing her favorite song. We run the production behind it — discreet photographers and filmmakers who need no do-overs, helicopter arrivals, château fireworks with drone coverage, Michelin-star chefs, Rolls-Royces with English-speaking chauffeurs, and partners we work with year-round. By midnight, you’re newly engaged, watching the Tower sparkle from your Shangri-La bed with a chilled Dom Pérignon in hand.

02
Paris Elopement Planning
We plan elopements in Paris for international couples who choose intimacy over a larger wedding. An elopement is a wedding day, not a two-hour shoot — we plan it like one. Most are symbolic ceremonies in Paris — couples marry legally at home, then say their vows here. Sunrise vows at Trocadéro with the Eiffel Tower in the frame, or a private ceremony on a Palace hotel terrace with only the people you invited.
Two of you or dinner for twelve, we handle the French side while you plan from abroad — locations, access, vendors, timing, and the contingencies you shouldn’t have to think about. One lead from getting ready to your last toast as newlyweds.
We started in photography and still lead one of the most respected visual teams in Paris — but an elopement is a wedding day, not a two-hour shoot. We plan it like one: a ceremony, a celebration, and photos worth framing for decades.

03
Paris Wedding Planning
We plan destination weddings in Paris and across France for couples who want the week of their lives, from intimate multi-day celebrations to high-production luxury wedding weekends, rehearsal dinner to goodbye brunch, Champagne tours, sidecar rides across Paris, and a wedding night where the orchestra, the fireworks, and the entertainers keep guests on their feet until the last song. One schedule, from arrival to departure.
We vet and shortlist before you fly in for venue visits and tastings, then lock the contracts and build the production schedule that keeps the week moving.
One English-speaking lead from consultation to final strike. Your guests enjoy Paris between events — restaurant bookings, airport transfers, welcome bags, and someone to call when they need anything.

Before-and-after paris event design
Raw spaces become finished productions. We start with the empty room — ballrooms, châteaux, rooftop suites, and private decks — and layer in lighting, floral installations, furniture, music, and the hundreds of small decisions that shape what guests see, hear, and walk into.
The images below show real setups at real venues: Shangri-La, Vaux-le-Vicomte, The Peninsula, Le Bristol, Fontainebleau, and private Seine yachts. Swipe to see the before and after. No filters, just the work. What you see here is ours: planned, produced, photographed, and published with permission.
‘Planning a wedding across different cities, time zones, and languages felt impossible — until Chantelle and her team made our Plaza Athénée celebration something beyond what we’d imagined. On the day, all we had to do was ask, “Where do you want me? When do you need me?” No stress, no last-minute panic.’

// Who We Are
We’re a woman-owned team of five in Paris. This city is our creative playground and our home.
Kiss Me in Paris was co-founded in 2013 by Chantelle Streete and Cengiz Ozelsel. We started as a photography studio, then expanded into full-service proposal and wedding planning in 2017 when clients kept asking us to handle more than the camera.
We built our process around the realities of planning from another country: deep local access, guidance in English, and a structure that works across time zones. That is why couples who research hard, compare options, and check references tend to land here.
‘Two days before my proposal, the company I’d arranged everything with called and said they couldn’t do it. Then there was Chantelle. She arranged EVERYTHING — a whole plan from A to Z. I could not have had a better person.’

Chantelle · shan-tel
Chantelle Streete is co-founder and Executive Planner of Kiss Me in Paris. She’s the creative lead behind the company’s most ambitious proposals and destination weddings — designing each evening from the experience inward, then building the production around it.
Before Paris, she traded equity derivatives at Morgan Stanley and Merrill Lynch after completing her MBA at Wharton. The instincts transfer: she reads a brief the way she once read a trading book — fast, precise, three steps ahead of where things can go wrong. Clients say she’s calm when it counts, sharp on the details, and fun to plan with across months of calls and WhatsApp messages at odd hours.
She takes the most demanding briefs herself, for clients who expect privacy, access, and serious production. Her work has been profiled by Reuters, Agence France-Presse, CNN, French Wedding Style, Style Me Pretty, and 84+ outlets across six continents.

‘Our relationship with Chantelle started years ago, when Eric planned a surprise proposal at Hôtel Marignan — walking through the doors, I thought I was walking into heaven. This year, he went back to Chantelle for my 40th. Over the years, we’ve become friends.’

// Paris Planning FAQs
What does Kiss Me in Paris do?
Kiss Me in Paris plans luxury proposals, elopements, and destination weddings in Paris for international clients planning from abroad. One English-speaking team handles design, venues, vendors, logistics, and on-site production.
How does planning work if we’re not in Paris?
We manage the full planning process remotely until you arrive, with one English-speaking lead handling the French side. You approve venues, vendors, contracts, and timelines through WhatsApp, email, and video calls.
What does planning typically cost?
Planning fees depend on scope and complexity, not event type, and are separate from event costs like venue, florals, photography, musicians, and transport. Proposal and elopement planning starts at €1,200 or 15% of the budget we manage, whichever is greater; weddings are quoted to scope. Set packages and a day-of coordinator from €500 keep simpler events efficient — full pricing lives on the planner pages.
How far in advance should we start planning?
There’s no hard minimum. Weddings run best with 8–15 months and proposals or elopements with 1–3, and we regularly deliver on far less — some proposals come together in 48–72 hours when discretion demands it. More lead time means more vendor choice, more tastings and meetings, and a calmer plan.
How do you handle privacy and discretion?
We coordinate photography, film, and private travel design when they support a proposal, elopement, or wedding. Standalone photography is handled through Kiss Me in Paris Photographer, our sister studio led by Cengiz.
