Peninsula Paris Proposal: Secret Table or Rooftop Garden Suite

At The Peninsula Paris, Kiss Me in Paris plans two very different proposal formats: the Secret Table and the Rooftop Garden Suite.

The Secret Table is a private rooftop for two above L’Oiseau Blanc, reached by private elevator and served by a dedicated butler. The Rooftop Garden Suite gives the evening a room, a staircase, a private roof garden, live music, and dinner on the terrace.

Before we recommend one, we settle three decisions: where you will propose, where you will have your first dinner as fiancés, and where you will spend your first night engaged.

The Secret Table and Rooftop Garden Suite create different arrivals, dinner plans, guest arrangements, and endings to the night.

The Secret Table

Choose the Secret Table when the proposal itself stays tightly private and dinner follows through L’Oiseau Blanc.

The rooftop is reserved for two, with private elevator access, a dedicated butler, and a direct Eiffel Tower view. A hotel room is not required. The couple can remain for dinner, leave for portraits, continue by car or yacht, or return to another hotel.

The Rooftop Garden Suite

Choose the Rooftop Garden Suite when the arrival, staircase, room, private roof garden, and dinner form one longer reveal.

The proposal begins with an overnight suite booking rather than a restaurant reservation. The setting has room for a substantial floral installation, live violin and harp, photography, film, and dinner on the terrace.

Kiss Me in Paris confirms the Eiffel Tower sightline, service path, staircase approach, and space available for the production before the design is approved.

Moving twenty-eight people through Paris

The family celebration continued well beyond The Peninsula.

The couple, parents, and guests had to leave the hotel, reach Port Debilly, board the private yacht, complete the river cruise, and arrive at dinner on time. Assigned vehicles and one master schedule kept the group together.

Proposal, dinner, and first night

At the Secret Table, the proposal and first dinner can happen in the same rooftop setting. The couple does not need to sleep at The Peninsula.

At the Rooftop Garden Suite, the proposal and dinner can remain within the suite booking. The couple can stay there or leave after dinner and return to another hotel.

The proposal, dinner, and overnight stay do not have to happen at the same address. They still need one schedule, one guest plan, and one planner controlling the sequence.

Family joins after the yes

The Secret Table is for the couple and a small working team. A larger group belongs nearby rather than around the proposal itself.

That separation can serve the plan. Family can gather on the L’Oiseau Blanc terrace below, remain part of a believable cover, and join after the yes.

In one of our proposals, twenty-six guests waited one floor below while the couple had the Secret Table to themselves. The private rooftop then opened into a larger celebration across Paris.

The Rooftop Garden Suite gives more room for a small guest sequence. Access and headcount are planned around the event.

The design must leave the Eiffel Tower clear

The Eiffel Tower remains the anchor in either setting.

At the Secret Table, the compact rooftop calls for lower, wider florals and a clear service path. At the Rooftop Garden Suite, the staircase and larger terrace support a longer approach, taller arrangements, two musicians, and dinner.

Live musicians can perform in either setting. Kiss Me in Paris coordinates hotel access, placement, repertoire, and proposal cues.

Red petals rest on an approved carpet or another protective surface rather than directly on wood. Candlelight is flameless, which works far better on exposed Paris rooftops.

There is no single Peninsula Paris proposal price because the two settings begin with different hotel bookings.

The Secret Table starts with the hotel’s private rooftop dining experience. The Rooftop Garden Suite starts with an overnight suite reservation. The remaining budget can include:

Weather at The Peninsula Paris

Weather affects the Secret Table and Rooftop Garden Suite in different ways.

The Secret Table is open-air and weather-dependent. Under the hotel’s published terms, unsuitable conditions can lead to another date or a table at L’Oiseau Blanc. Before booking, we decide whether that alternative still serves the proposal or whether another private setting is the better choice.

The Rooftop Garden Suite gives the plan an interior and staircase, while the private roof garden remains outdoors. We monitor rain, wind, heat, and cold and adjust the timing or sequence before the event day.

One named planner, one coordinated evening

Your named English-speaking planner is your main contact from inquiry through the event day. Planning runs through calls, WhatsApp, and shared approvals across time zones. Nothing requires you in Paris before the event day.
